I know you were already hit by this Liz, but I'm senidng this out to everyone who has anything to do with me on this site. I just was hit by a phisher and apparently some of my watchers are getting messages that tell them to go check out a cool new blog, or to click on a link to see something funny.

DONT CLICK ON THE LINK! Its a phisher site that will make it so you can't post on deviantart.

I didn't send you the message if you receive it. I'm trying to send all my watchers messages since I know that not everyone reads my journal. If you do have problems because of a message it appears I sent to you change your password, it may let you back on to the site with the ability to post. If not you can still use your journal, post an entry on the issue and I will do my best to contact the admins on your behalf.

Yeah, if you ever get a link from me it will either be one that you requested or within the context of a fully typed-out message. Plus, it will probably be in a note. So you know not to click those things from me, either.
This should be a forum discussion or something. Something that will get the word out to lots of people at once.

eep sorry, I accidentally hit the reply buttion...
...trying to help anyone I infected.

Uusually I'm a bit more savvy about these things, but the person who sent me the infected file kind of talk like that so I didn't think to much of it, and it came with a different kind of message than the one I had expected.
I agree...I've seen a lot warning people about what to do, but not what to do if they were infected. I should just make a post, that's a good idea honey :). :hug:
